NEW
BEGINNINGS
This
original 20 x 24 oil painting was commissioned by
Line Leret of Norway.
It
is a symbolic painting depicting Line with both
her Papillons, "Speedy"
the
tri and "Rambo" the red dog. Sadly
Speedy has crossed the rainbow bridge, but
in
this
painting he and his spirit, represented by the
monarch butterfly, are back to watch
over
Line in her new beginning with Rambo. The dew
drops on the hosta leaves represent
the
tears for Speedy while the flowers represent the
new beginning of love and caring when
Line
brought Rambo into her life and heart. Our beloved
companions never really leave us
if
we hold them close in our hearts. And just for a
little Norwegian style fun, find the forest
troll
hidden in the scene ! ( Painting not for sale )

MOUNTAIN
HEIRS
This
large (24 x 36) oil on masonite was done during my
days of wildlife art.
I
did the research at the Minnesota Zoo when the
young cougars still had remnants of their
juvenile
spots. It was a delight to paint these majestic
felines.
The
painting is now hangs over our fireplace.
